Thongchai "Bird" McIntyre (born Albert Thongchai McIntyre, December 8, 1958) is a Thai pop singer who released his debut album in 1986. He is also sometimes known as Bird Thongchai, Thongchai McIntyre (Thai: ธงไชย แมคอินไตย์), Pe Bird (elder brother Bird) or simply Bird The Superstar No.1 of Thailand. He is the most successful singer in Thailand, having sold more than 20 million albums.

He said he enjoys it and thinks it becomes part of his life now as a celebrity. He thinks if a person does not want such attention, he or she could just stay at home or choose to take other job. He really appreciates all the love from fans out there, which gives him strength and will to continue singing and to give love back to them.
